| Since 1995, the LGB-Festival has become a good tradition
in the annual Bahnfreunde-timetable. It takes place on one weekend of the
"Ludwigshafener Parkfest"-called Country-Fair at the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle
in Ludwigshafen. On several round courses, we present different models at
the IIm (G)-scale to the public. Specially interested are (of course) the
children: really fascinated by a model railway of these dimensions: The bigger,
longer and louder the train, the better it is. The vehicles shown come from the rolling stock of our members and friends. Our guest's vehicles are welcome too. But opposite to other commercial events of similar object, we, as a non-profit-organization, can't pay travelling or hotel fees to our guests. But this seems not to be bad to the festival - as our guests, the real fans without financial interests keep joining us. Even though, we had always some very interesting self-constructed or special models to present to our public. The photographs below were taken during the LGB-Festival on June 19th and 20th, 1999. |

| Because of the sudden death of Mr. Bayer in Autumn 1999, our LGB-festival has lost its most energetic worker. We'll continue acting to his mind. | |
