Deutsche Reichsbahn

Die Güterwagen der Regelbauart - Standard Design Freight Cars

- Übersichtszeichnungen - General Arrangement Drawings -

This set of drawings hase been created in late 1944 / early 1945. There is reason to believe that this work of "high importance" for WW2 was initiated to save some people of the Reichsbahn central office from military service at the front. To what extent this was really achieved is unclear to date. This collection in A2 size (420 mm x 595 mm) is particularly interesting since it contains the contemporary German designs as well as wagons captured from the Austrian, Czech, Polish, Belgian and French railways that were part of the Reichsbahn rolling stock of the time.

To allow access to this collection to a broader audience, a railway enthusiast from Belgium and I have issued a CD containing scans of all the sheets. For those that do not have a suitable printer, A4 (210 mm x 297 mm) and A3 (297 mm x 420 mm) sized printouts are available. The cost of the CDs and the printouts are as follows:

The following postage and packaging charges apply (per piece, subject to change):
